I have 200 DID's on my telrad 400 switch. Anyway, my DID first three numbers 461, 788, and 386. where the last 4 digits are 4600-4699, 6300- 6399. The problem I am having is making extensions 610-619 did's ending in 4610 through 4619. I have it configured where in DID routing the DID numbers are 4600 through 4699, and in route table the incoming DID's are 461,788, and 386. Somehow the 461 in the incoming did's is conflicting and will not allow the DID ending in 4610-4619 will not work. Is there a way I can make this work?

Best way is contact your provider and get a new block of DID's. ------------------ ssimpson@oneringtelecom.com Need a Telrad Programmer Kit? Telrad Programmer Kits

I have had these DID's for over 2 years and if I change the DID's it would screw up a lot of people using these numbers. THere is no way the switch can fix this so that I can utilize the 10 DID's?

You have had these DID's for 2 years and just now there is a problem or they have never worked? When you have a DID conflict many time you can get the provider to send you other non confilcting numbers so you can route them. Try this ask your provider to change the sent digits for just these 10 numbers to 0610-0619 and route those in DID routing. You dont need to change the published number just the digits being sent. ------------------ ssimpson@oneringtelecom.com Need a Telrad Programmer Kit? Why does it conflict? Should it be coonflicting? I know the first three digits are 461 and the following digits are 461X, i thought it was only suppose to recognize the first three digits and not the following 4 (excluding the very last digit).

It looks to me as if your carrier is only sending 3 digits. Just to make it clear when you receive digits from a carrier its the last digits that are sent. Make sure you are programmed to four digits. if you have three digits can the conflict is in adding ext's with 600 that the number 6 is removed from intrusion in codes.

Make sure your DID conversion is set to yes in tie/DID group features.
If this is not set to yes the system will look at the flexible numbering plan. So some DID's will work but others might not. If you look at the DID that doesn't work it might have a conflick with something in that plan but one's that do work don't have a conflick. If this setting is set to no DID look at the FLNP Plan 1ST then looks at the DID Table. Also when you call the DID's that don't work do they go to the ATT. If they do I would link to the T-1 or PRI card and do a trace on it. If thay don't check that setting.
