Ok, on the imagen in one of the setup screens there were a pair of options allowing you to either let the imagen control the day/night greeting or allow the pbx's night button override any day/night tables and force the message change whenever the night button is activated. Is there anything similiar to those options on the emagen? I didn't want to wait on hold for an hour to ask tech support and I don't need the option at the moment, but it would be nice if it existed. I can't find a mention of it in any of the emagen docs I have, but somebody might have gotten a clear answer from tech support on this one. Drop me hints, clues, answers, jokes, whatever...

Dont think there is a way to control with the night button but that was a pain away IMHO. But you can put the emagen in night or day or lunch or emergency or holiday.

Ya you can have the e-magen control the greetings by time or have the night button do it. If you have 10.2.x you have to telnet into the emagen but I forgot where it is, on the 10.3.x it's in the web brose in departments. If you need it for 10.2.x look in the book arounn the telnet section I think it's in regest key parameters. If you need me to look it up I will be happy to.

Thanks! I thought there would be a way to do it, but I found that my manual was from a 1.x release. I downloaded the latest ones and the 2.x one I found in one of the tech support guys folders [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com] Thanks tony3866. I doubt I'll use this often but I always like to know as many options as possbile when the customer asks questions.
