I'm trying to connect 2 digital phones to an ELB board, but I'm receiving a "Dup DN" error message. I tried clearing the DN by powering down the phone and powering back up holding the # key...no luck. I'd like to have 1 CO line ring at both of these phones as well. Please help!

Is your ELD (not ELB) card programmed for 2 stations for that circuit? What 2 dn's are assigned to that port?

To clear a DN you need to press and hold the # and unplug the phone then hold the # and plug the phone back in until the lights have scaned display should say Cleared DN. But it sounds like there is only 1 DN programmed on the port. And ringing will require system programming.

Thank you for the responses...I would have to believe that the ELD must not be programmed for 2 dns because I've cleared the DN on both phones by the procedure that SSPHONE suggested...no luck. frown How can I program the ELD for 2 DNs. Thanks again!!

If I'm not misstaken he is asking for someone to help them as a billable service.

To help remotly we would have to know if the system has a modem and the DN of the modem and to do this you would still have to look at the programming, so your best bet is to get with one of us and get the program kit to start with.
