Hi All

I am needing IVM software 4.00J(AVC).My copys seem to have gone bad(They have not been used for 3 years)

I have an issue with inbound calls hitting the AA.The IVM will not respond to the incomming digits.I have changed out the 4 port card,MPD,OCD and COG.The VM works perfect for all internal access.

My last hope is to reload a hard drive and test it out but all I have is DVC software.

What version on the system. Try changing the lenghts on the lines. Also try to see if it only happens on one line. There's also a setting in system parameters in the voicemail that say's DTMF something, It's set to 70 in default try going to the lowest setting I think its 50. And if it happens all the time no matter what line your on check the DTMF Recevers like SSphones says said. I don't feel reloading the software will help.

The DTMF recievers are located on the MPD or the OCD which have been both changed out.The issue is happining on all lines.8 are located on the COG and 4 are on the MPD.It is a 128 twin cabinet config. It is ver 3.05 on the MPD.

In 12 years of working on Telrads I have never seen this problem.I even changed out the main cabinet just in case it was the backplane.

So you have changed out the AVC card in the voicemail with a known good AVC card (had been tested at another site and is a working card)? Would hate for you to be switching one dinosour with another only to find both were bad. Have you tried installing a SLD card and dialing from it internal? Remember you only have 1 DTMF receiver on the MPD by adding a SLD you add 2 more. Or you could do yourself and the customer a favor and offer to get them upgraded to a new IPeX server with the onboard EmaGen voicemail. Check with your local Telrad Dealer for more options.
Oh wait that's Me. smile

I replaced the SLD and tested. The AVC card works on a test system I set up.

I found an old copy of 4.00H.I am loading up a hard drive with it to take to the site.

I hope this does the trick.

My old company is still a dealer for Telrad but they dont sell much of it since I left. They moved on to BCM's (Mistake)
