I have a sb 7.30 software system with avanti phones and one user who presses her message button and instead of dialing the voicemail, it dials another ext. It happens every time. This is probably something simple, but what am I missing? I can dial the voicemail ext and it works fine. thanks

When this happens to me - it uasually meant the person it calls left her a message by pressing the mgs button either by accident or on purpose - just press the # (or cancel) button and then hit the msg button again.
Sorry if this doesn't work but It uasually fixes it for me.

The station that left the message will ring when the msg button is pressed try picking up the hand set and answer the call.
