I have the Imagen voice mail for Telrad.
My voice mails were cut off before the callers finished. Is there something I can do to fix this or is it a system issue?

First , start with a system defrag, then log in and delete really old messages, you wouldn't believe all the people that don't delete them. I other words do a clean up and check your settings.

This is never a problem, however today the messages are cutting short. When you say do a system defragment, are you talking about the operating system itself, or can you do a defrag in the imagen software? It is a very old pc, but we never had an issue with it, as it is just used for voicemail. I will also look into deleting old voicemails.

A defrag usally fixes these problems. If it's an older Machine, It's probably a DOS based IVM. If that's the case try hitting F-10 and type defrag at the C:\IVM prompt. If that doesn't work you might need to get the defrag program from a disk. This is only the case on old machines without DOS version 6.22 (don't quote me on the version).
If it's a windows 95 machine just run the defrag from windows.
The Telrad IVM sortware doesn't have the defrag program.
Defrag will put all the files on the hard drive in proper order. You defrag the whole drive.

If the defrag doesnt fix the issue you may have a OCD Data failure either on the AVC/DVC card in the ImaGen or the RS232 on the OCD. Have you changed and cards in the system lately?
