Does anyone know if they have an extender that will work for Telrad?
Here is what I would like to do:
I would like to set up a phone (not an IP phone) from home and put it through our VPN network to our PBX here at work. They said it was possible with an extender made by MCK, however I am not sure if that will work with Telrad PBX. I want to be able to have a line from the PBX at home with this extender or whatever equipment is capable of doing this with the Telrad PBX. i really do not care if the line that is set up at home has any features or not, i just want a line.

Thanks

Are you looking to have a digital phone at home, a single line port off the system or a standard POTs line (a phone number that you have at your office).

No you can't have a digital phone work over the VPN. You need an IP phone.

You can find after market equipment that could push the single line EXT or a POTS line across the internet.

Telrad makes a bose gateway unit but thats to push a POTS line from the far location to the Telrad switch.

I am looking to have an analog line or a POTS line at home.
I want to get the line from the PBX through VPN.
Any suggestions other than VOIP from Telrad.

But you would do it the oppsite way. The 1301 goes in your office and the 1401 goes to your house.
