I have several Version 6 Synopsis and they all have similar problems, an incoming call rings, when it is picked up it continues to ring on other phones until someone picks that phone up.

THis does not happen everytime, just occasionally, does anyone know of a fix for this.

Are the lines programmed to ring a group? What kind of group is it?

The Synopsys was discontinued due to continuing issues with it. I replaced several of them in my Telcom days.

Do all the systems have the exact same problem? Are there other issues? Are you using the same programming configuration for each?

They all have the same problems, and it is the phones in the ring group, that continue to ring.

This is discontinued system from Telrad like Telradmaniac says. I've put a couple in and change them really quickly to 8/18 systems. I know of the issues of ringing phones, but no one is there. I think they fixed it in the last version before discounting the product.
What version are they exactly 6.xx, But I don't think you can get the lastest versions chips unless a dealer has a set laying around. I hope someone can come up with a set for you.

One thing I kmow about the "Synops" is that there were two different versions; 5.xx and 6.xx. Once, before I knew of the version difference, I programmed the ver. 6.xx system with a ver. 5.xx dkeybx. It really messed up the programming, and we had a lot of really strange problems. Ended up defaulting the system and reprogramming it completely.

Never made that mistake again. LOL

when you answer the call, are you live with the caller? or is the caller still ringing in to the other phones?
