I just had the SMDR software installed into my system. The thing is when I go to reports -> System Hourly Statistics it doesn't list anything in the outgoing call duration. The number of outgoing calls also doesn't seem to be correct.

However when I generate a report from SMDR it list the outgoing calls.

Should the report be showing me this information or is it providing me with different info?

Thanks for any help.

Hi
From what i can remember the emagen voicemail
generates internal reports
smdr data for call billing is taken from the com port on the front of the ipex card the reports you see in the emagen relate to voicemail activity or auto attndt statistics
like outgoing calls relate to calls the voicemail made
but as i said its been a while
cheers jd

There are two ways to have SMDR. You can use after market software like tapit. If you are using other software you would hook it up like JD explain.

If you are using the E-magen software package I need more info. Is this and IPEX card or a PC tower voicemail? What version on the E-magen?

There is some programing in the phonesystem you have to do and you must have the proper A-1 file or activation key.

I think the key to this post is

I just had the SMDR software installed into my system

How much data can you collect if you just had it installed? Now if you had it installed a week ago and you dont have reports that's a different story. I think Tony is on the right track, we need more info, type processor/ voicemail and was the system configured to send the data to the emagen?
