I'm having problems with voicemail this morning. When you try to access it, it shows ringing, when it does answer, after about 8-10 rings, the system will not accept any entries. I've powered down both the IVM and the S400 and the problem still exists. Maintenance shows the OCD card and the associated IVM ports to be in service. I have two AVC cards that were set up for six ports. Because of lower staffing level, I could get away with just four ports if one of my AVC cards is the culprit. Any ideas or assistance is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The 1st problem I see is that you shouldn't have DB 6 on IVM 4.00K. You should be on a DVC card's and be at the latest version 6 on the Voicemail. Try running defrag on the voicemail. If that don't work. I would check with your local dealer for help. I would also consider upgrading to the IPEX card. You can reuse all of your cards and your system will be up to date with all the newest features. That old AVC computer you can't get parts for anymore.

Thank you for the reply. I've been using this same setup for the last 5 years without issue. Granted, the system, in general, is running on a prayer. Solved issue with OCD swap out.
Would an Ipex1 handle a PRI, a T1 and about 36 extensions?

IVM 4.00K will work up to the Rel6 level software without issues, some limits but no issues. Your OCD swap just reset the digital link to the AVC card. You may have a AVC card failing but you said you had 2 cards so if the 2nd card is a full card with both data and voice DB9 connections you can move the data over to it to get by.

Oh and to answer you question the IPeX1 can be licensed up to 384 ports and T1/PRI no problems add up to 6

I had already tried replacing both MIMs in addition to pulling out the OCD and reinserting it before I did anything. We'll keep an eye on it. If the problem comes back, I will try to move everything to the one AVC card, after I verify it is a full card. I appreciate the replys, as always.

Look at the AVC card it has 2 connections (DB9) 1 is Audio that connects to the Amp on the OCD. The other is the Data connection that connects to the RJ45 on the OCD. That connection can be on either of the the 2 AVC data connections
