This is started happening a few weeks ago and cannot figure it out. There are times when a user goes to retrieve their voicemail and they just get dead air. If they hang up and go back into voicemail there are not issues. Then, if you are listening to a message and go to delete it, it says you have pressed an invalid key, if you press it again to delete the message it will delete that message plus the next one. This has got me stumped? Are there some Linux commands that can be run to check the disk or something to that affect? All else seems fine on the voicemail. Not having a pattern is hard to nail this problem down. The version is T3 10.2.8

All 10.2 voicemails have to be upgraded to 10.3, this should have been done years ago. I cant remember all of the issues it's been so long now.
The 10.3 upgrade was a no charge for the software but it will take you a couple of hours to do it.
*NOTE before anyone that will read this ask, no I will not email or PM the software it is way to big.
FYI we received a notice from T3 back in Feb that 10.3 is end of life June 30, 2009. Now this doesn't mean they are going to die that day just that they will no longer offer support or Licenses for 10.3 products.
Telrad has been shipping 10.4 voicemails for almost 2 years now.
There is a price break until 6/30/09 on the upgrade license to 10.4 or a special price on a replacement unit, T3 micro or T3 mini both are 10.5 software. I have contacted all my customers with PC voicemails and suggested the replacement unit, and those with IPeX's the 10.4 license upgrade if they were still 10.3 software.

Sounds like to you have a bad voice port. I would dial the voicemail ports directly and see if you get dead air on one of them. I'm sure you will.

With the Msg's be deleted not really sure. Start by checking the voice ports.

But you should upgrade to at least 10.3 as SSPhones stated above.
