I would like to set up a incoming line from the outside world with a script line, that will pose the caller with a series of questions. I have read the (rt*m) and still confused. Is there a simple template that someone has or a quick cheat sheet for this? Many Thanks

Script mailboxes are very involved and it would be hard to explain how they work. In the e-magen book it does give an explanation on each option.
I don't know of a cheat sheet but if the version of the voicemail is 10.3.XX or above you can see the most of the options on the pull down windows.
If your 10.2.XX the scripts used commands and you would need to know them. (there in the 10.2 book)
Really don't know of a cheat sheet on scripts mailboxes.
I suggest buying some Tech support form a moderator to walk you through it.

If you still have 10.2 UPGRADE. 10.2 to 10.3 upgrade is a easy install and you will not need a new license.
FYI neither the 10.2 or 10.3 softwares are supported anymore both were end of lifed 6/09. A upgrade to 10.4 cost $$$ but the features are worth it.
cmh I think what you are looking for is interview.
