Does anyone know why a call will drop after being on hold with a customer after 2-3 minutes on a Telrad VoIP system?
Thanks,
Nate

Could be many things. Need more info? Is the phone on the LAN or is it off site? Does the phone reset? Does it happen on internal, external calls or both? Does the display say anything after the call is dropped?
Are you a tech or an end-user?

I'm a tech. I believe the phone is on a LAN at a local business. I received a request for service and I'm more of a connectivity tech than a programming tech. It's obviously properly connected. I'm wondering if it's a programming issue.

Well there isn't much on programing that might diconnect a call. But i would look at these programs in the system. Open loop timer, Make 1.0 or unlimited Hands free timer, make Unlimited First digit time out, make unlimited
These are some of the programs that might make the system drop a call.
Does it happen on all IP phones or just one?

Actually, as it turns out, it's not a VoIP system. It's an old digital key system with a 3015D handset for pro

It's a digital system with a 3015D handset for programming. I have the manual on the system and cannot get the programming to take. Can't even change to the correct date/time on this thing. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Your going to have to check your timers, you will also need the software for programming, do you know what ver/switch you have there? As these systems can't be programmed by phone.
You would set the time at the set that was programed to be the time station, once again we are back to software and ver/switch.
hope this helps
