I have an IPEX system (3.13QA/10.3.15)and need to interface smdr with some 3rd party call accounting software. The outside lines are on a P24. Do i need a license to get some basic SMDR out a serial port on the IPEX, OCD, ONs, or COL.etc.?

Basic output can be put out on a COL, CHL. No license needed. Or ONS with a rs232 daughter board, or to a spare OCD. COL is probably the easiest.

SMDR can be output from the IPeX itself. There is a DB9 SMDR connector right on the card.
