I have a Strata CS server and the PRI loop keeps going 'bouncing'. My carrier is telling me they are seeing a "Level 2" error on the D channel - the circuit goes down and then back up....

any suggestions on what settings should be on the server....

Sounds like a timing issue. Who's supplying the timing you or the carrier?

Are you set up as primary or secondary?

I think that most are clocked from the provider...in which case it's a carrier problem. But if the Carrier is clocking the circuit you should be set up as secondary on the equipment side. If I remember correctly...if not one of these gurus will set me straight.

Just noticed something you said in your first post:
Is your carrier having this dropping problem with a loop back on your equipment?

Is this a new problem? Or has it been doing it all along.

Do you have UPS power for all inhouse equipment including the telco interface?
Just thought I'd ask.

these situations are almost always provider
issues. as soon as you have all your ducks in a row. push for a "vendor meet". toshiba tech support can be very helpful at this time also.
