first you must log into programming at port 005(usually station #205).
what are you trying to do?

Ouch. Well this board happens to be full of vendors trying to make 100 buks a visit so we can feed our families.

I think you want to add PhDN to ext 200 is this correct?
If it is, to program a PhDN there are 6 different programs to do in the system programming and you will need a DKT2020SD type phone to do the programming. And if your not up to speed on the system programming its best left to a Tech who is. If you system has remote maintenance (modem) this can be done from off site and usually at a reduced labor rate.
For more information you can email or call me see my profile for numbers and address.

And be nice boys he doesnt know how hard programming can be because you guys make it look so easy. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

i think what everyone is getting at is we
don,t mind helping someone with simple system programming. however if it is not and
you can possibly cause a major disruption of your phone service then we will probabley decline help. in your case does this extension already exist? if so how many buttons on phone? you really need a 20 button lcd to effectively program the system.
if after all this maybe that $100 might be worth it to get it done right. if it is not yuo can always call him back.
good luck
good to hear other tech/installers chime in!
by the way installing another extension takes a lot longer than 5 minutes
