I have hooked up a FAX machine on an analog line and it does not dial out. I tried with a standard phone instrument and hear dial tone but it does not break when I push DTMF keys. This system was installed 18 months ago by another agency. Then this summer our agency bought the building, including the DK424i phone system. I do not see any indication that they used the analog lines before, but the system has the RSTU and the BRCS4 board plugged onto the PCB in the second slot. Since I do not have spare boards, how can I determine that the BRCS4 board is working? I have checked program 03 and the slot 000 is set to 91 and the 001 is set to 92. That seems to be what would make it operate.
