Hello,
I’m trying to set up our system for some users that would like calls forwarded to cell phones when not in the office. Some would like to be able to do this from the menu option in the VM and a few others would like to have button on their phone that does this.
I have read through all the posts here and have tried many of the solutions but none has allowed me to accomplish this yet.
Also right now we have a normal T1 using 16 trunks. We will be converting the system over to a PRI will this change how this is done.

Program a call-forward all button on a phone. Then go to that phone and enter user programming (#9876), touch the button, put in a 9+phone number+# (pound), touch the button again, get out of user programming. Now that button will forward all incoming internal or external calls to your cell phone. Also make sure that tandem calls are enabled inthe class of service. This will still work going from a T1 to a PRI.

phonemeister,
Thanks! I will give that a try. Do you think there is a way to do this from the menu in the Stratagy iES32. Or maybe using the menu to forward to a PHDN then have that CFA to an external #?

Make a phantom mailbox and in the extension field put a 9+phone number+H (H=release). And, oh, in the above post I should have mentioned that you should use the call forward all and not the call forward external.
