Is it possible to record messages from an old Stratagy DK with the new record feature in iES32?

CTX 670 & Stratagy iES32 VM. The old Stratagy VM is hooked up on 2 ports with SLT and Voicemail selected in the CTX WinAdmin.

Unified messaging is setup on the DN I'm attempting from. I can record station to station, incoming and outgoing calls. All works fine there.

Not sure what exactly you want to do. You want to transfer your old voicemail messages to your iES32 using the voicemail record feature?

If I'm reading him right, sounds like it might work. Dial into the DK card and while you are listening to the message, hit record which should save it in the ies32.

Interesting...........

keukavly,

That is exactly what I have tried and am wanting to do. There are a few messages that the users want to keep from the old system. When I call the old VM system and press the record it will not light, and will not record. The feature works great any other way.

If there is another, better, easier, or any way to do this I would like to give it a try.

I haven't tried this, but remove voicemail status in prog 200 from the old vm ports and see if it works.
