Will I lose my configuration settings if I were to power off the system in order to switch it to UPS power?

Will I lose services to phones? What should I expect to happen during power off and back on? Is there a proper shutdown? Switch? Or do I just unplug it and plug it back in to UPS power?
Thanks in advance...

Its safe to assume the battery jumper is enabled on the Processor card(s).
If you have an in-skin voicemail card, ie: IVP8 or DK, MAKE SURE none of the port lights are on when you power down. It is recommended to shutdown the voicemail card with the Stratagy Admin prior to power down. Be very careful.
Just unplug the cabinet(s) and plug into UPS. All of the phones will go off, and of course drop any calls in progress.
When you power it up, everything should be OK. The Voicemail card will take about 2 or 3 minutes to come back to life.
If the system was in night mode when the power went off, it will come back on in day mode. Don't forget to put it back in night mode.
Good Luck

Is it ok as well to switch over the power to the T1 CSU ???
I most likely will be doing this off hours, but how do I return to night mode on the voicemail if it powers back on in day mode? How will I know the difference?
as my username suggests
Thx....
