My customer wants an alert button on his phone so when he wants his employees to send him his next customer, he pushes the alert key and it rings their extensions, telling them to send it the next patient. I have no problem putting the alert key on the phone.ie station 10 under program 39 code 427 but cannot get it to ring on the other stations. the manual suggest programming it under speed dial 48 but i must have been having a head dead moment and nothing seems to work as the manual indicates. can anybody walk me through this process.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Both phone must have the same alert button code and a speed dial programmed. For example, if ext.10 wants to alert extension 11 then BOTH extensions must have 427 assigned to a button. Ext.10 has speed dial 48 programmed as 11 and extension 11 has speed dial 48 programmed as 10.
