We want to reduce our number of CO lines from 8 to 4. How do I program the DK280 to hunt for a free CO starting with line #4 , then #3, #2, etc. instead of starting with line #8 #7, #6, etc. when an outbound call is initiated.

Thank you. So reassigning the CO line groups may do the trick. I did have a programming manual, but it "disappeared" in June.

I think I may have a pdf of the manual. I'm not sure if its illegal. I'm not selling it, and you have the phone system. So? Interested

Jedwards,
Just an FYI from a company that sells manuals.
Technically, all manuals are copyrighted and cannot be copied, etc..., for profit.
This can, again in theory, apply to manuals being freely exchanged as the holder of the copyright is being deprived of income.
HOWEVER!!! The only manufacturer that I know of that actually ever enforces this in any way is InterTel. As Intertel also owns the rights to Executone and Isoetec, those are the only manuals that, as far as I am aware, have ever resulted in any kind of legal issues. Hope this helps.

I think it is ridiculous that for the exception of Avaya, that these phone companies try to keep manuals, software, etc. hush hush.

I agree.
Especially when Intertel is doing it with manuals for systems that they never even considerred offering any support for. They are even enforcing this on the old Isoetec analog and Executone Encore/Equity III/CX manuals. Kinda absurd. Try giving Intertel tech support a call for support on an Executone Encore switch and see how far you get. But you still have to pay them for their manuals.
