We have a DK280 R3 that we just upgraded from a 4 port smooth operator to an 8-port contact-dk voice mail system. We installed contact-dk in the same slot (S14) that contained the RSTU1 card that was connected to smooth operator. We ran programs 3,*4,10-1, 10-2, 15, 31, *34, 35, 40, *40 per the instructions supplied with the card. We then accessed the administrators mailbox and configured the card for a DK280. We added all of the mailboxes and ran a #656 and #657 on all of the stations. Everything is working as expected. Calls are routed to the correct mailboxes and message waiting indicators are all working. The only problem we are unable to solve is that when we press the Msg button to retrieve a voicemail, the system dials Ext. 201 or port 001. The display in the phone also indicates that the voicemail came from 201 i.e. (CALL 205-201V). All of the stations are DKT2020 and DKT2010. If anyone has any insight on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds to me like you may have port 001 programmed as a Voice mail port in program 31. Make sure only the voice mail ports are activated for LEDs 4,5,9,15-20. Then send me a check.

You forgot to mention program 13. Do you have the lowest vm port number in program 13?
You probably have port 001 in there right now.

Some of the ports did have settings for voicemail ports in program 31. I cleared them and the display indicates the voicemail port and it calls the vm system but then the vm system tries to call 001. The first port of the vm is 024. I programed 13 for 024 and *32 000~023 for 024 and all vm ports in 31 for led 5.
