I have a CTX 100 system and am running WinAdmin version 2.22. We have 4 cordless phones connected to a RSTU card (DN 25-28) and would like to change one of the extensions (28) to use a DKT3010-SD instead of the cordless phone. I have been told that changing the port to a "2000 series" would do it, but that was just off-hand advice. Can someone please tell me how to get the DKT3010 to work even if we have to give up some of the display characters?

I also realized that we have to ADKU cards and only the first 15 DNs (10-24) are on those cards right now. When I look at the type 66 block, I see a spare pair of copper available after DN 24 and before DN 25. In WinAdmin, DN24 is listed as PDN Equipment No. 010207 and DN25 is listed as PDN Equipment No. 010301 so I assume that I could change DN28 to use number 010208 (first cabinet, 2nd ADKU card, 8th pair) and then wire the jack to that pair. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The DKT phone have to run off of a digital station port. They will not work off of a tip/ring port on an RSTU. If you attempt to plug one in there, it will most likely be fried the first time ring voltage comes down the line.
I did not read far enough, sorry. Yes, you could re-punch the extension onto the Digital station card easily enough and renumber the extension.

Thanks, I got it taken care of. I found most of the programming changes that I needed in the WinAdmin software but I still need to add a couple of numbers to speedial for system-wide use. When I try to view the current speed dial numbers programmed (267 is the last one currently used), I don't see any numbers tied to it. Speed dial is working, so I must not be in the right place in the WinAdmin, but I will look some more tomorrow.
