got a odd one. dk280 with 1 exp cab. digital sets. t1 lines coming in the switch as single co lines. customer has about 10 lines. incoming calls get dropped when answered. most calls come in on the first several lines. they tell me it happens mostly in the morning. the day i was there it happened only once before i got there. co line milliamps check ok. anyone else had to solve a problem like this. at presant i have traded l-2 with l-9 using differant co cards.

I have had in the past every line on a T1 start ringing into the system after the T1 had a Red Alarm. IS there a CSU/DSU on this or thru a channell bank?

it is a csu i believe. i have the lines all going in to the rcou cards. they use a clec and they they tell me they called the clec and the clec checked with verizon who claim their equiptment is ok. this done without acutally going to the site. would there be any warning lights on the t1 equiptment. i didnt think to check for that. thanks dave

If you're using rcou cards, the t1 is going into a channel bank, this breaks the digital t1 into 24 loop start analog lines. Look on the channel bank for any alarm or error lights. Double check the loop current between the channel bank and the rcou, if it's too high it can cause problems.
