Thanks for the help. I will take a picture of the punch down board and explain in greater detail exactly what I need done. It's my office. I have eight phone lines which I'm currently having reduced to 6 lines. I need to change a few of the wires/lines so the numbers ring in certain offices.
The configuration is a homerun using cat5. I'll explain more after I post a picture. Thanks again - I sincerely appreciate all the help!

I have a link for you. I don't agree with everything in this pdf but it is a start. Sparky-IT Dude 101 A bit of background on this sites members. Here you will find the largest collection of knowledge there is in any one location. Many of us (myself included) have been insulted many times and it is most commonly by members of the IT field. More on that later. I have a question: Is there a phone system operating at your location or analog phones in different locations that you want to deal with?

John makes an excellent point. If it's POTS lines then you might be able to accomplish your task.
If, on the other hand these lines are going through a phone system, then you'll have to reprogram the system. This by the way, we will NOT explain in any detail. This is an Installer's job to re-program the system.
