Our operator when answering a incoming call can answer the call but when try to transfer the call is stuck on hold and will not release.
Any Ideas?

does she do transfer ext # hang up
or does she have a release button /any programming recently done /
did you change the phone with another
to see if phone is good ?

We use a pc with the attendant software on it. I tryed 3 different keyboards and still have the same problem.

But....

Our system has been having some power factor issues, and it did a hard reboot and it fixed the problem.

We would have tried a reboot earlier but we are a hospital and cant just take the system down in the daytime.

dont you have alternate answering points
in case that pc console takes a dump

yes we do have other locations.

but now almost2 month later it happened again.
what in the world is going on?
