hello guys. in a fix. moved a ctx100, one sta card, 1 co card with piggyback card. has surge protector that seems to be ok and express pwr bbu directly into ksu. the power light is on, but no lights on cpu. no voltage at stations. they left phones at old shop so i couldnt use a set. if i put system on dc-back up cpu light comes on and statons have power. i have never worked with these new toshiba systems before, only the dk serries. anyone have and idea where i went wrong on this one. thanks dave

Turn off the CTX. Pop the top cover off and look for a couple of white-colored buttons. I think there are 3 of them. Push them one by one and then power the CTX back up.

Did you verify that the power outlet that you have the CTX plugged into is good?

Check the fuses. Unplug the power cord from the outlet and open the top cover again. Follow the power cord to inside the cabinet and you'll see two fuses.

hello again. i never made it back in time today to check the fuse but did call the owner. he says he called the people he got it from and they told him the switch should always be set to dc if you have the powerfail unit. he said the reason it wont work is becuase it is set to ac. does this sound right. i afraid if i put it to dc they may come in the next day to a dead battery and system. what do you think. thanks dave

It doesn't sound right because the AC LED will light up if it's plugged into a live AC circuit and the DC LED will light up if the battery is connected to the CTX. The AC power light should always be on as long as it's plugged into a live AC circuit. The power rocker switch does not switch between AC and DC. That rocker switch is simply an on/off switch. Btw, there's also a small reset button that you might want to push just in case.
