hi! really dumb question here. i'm filling in for the receptionist at my office and the directuons she gave me for the phone system (it's a toshiba something, looks like this https://www.mainresource.com/PhoneTipsToshiba.html#3a) I'm having some trouble transferring calls - cnf/trn and pushing the ext. doesn't seem to work. any ideas?

After hitting the Cnf/Trn key, dial their extension instead of hitting their "button" which is probably a DSS key.

You can also simply press the extensions corresponding dss key(without putting them on hold or using the conf/transfer button) and hang up to tranfer the call.

It all depends on the system version of software and the system, but try any of the above, one of them is bound to work.
