I am attempting to move a user off of the programming port 005 so it can be reloacted to my office. I have physically moved the current users phone to port 046 and have assigned PDN 205 to port 046 using program 04. I have added a new phone connected to physical port 005 and assigned PDN of 246. Now when dialing the extension 205 the users voicemail does not work, and it also rings the 246 extension. Also their phone no longer rings for the PhDN of 507. Being new to Toshiba programming what have I missed here?

OK, here you go...

PhDN 507 must be assigned to port 46

Programs *33, *71, 39. dont forget to remove it from port 005.

Are you sure the 04 programming took? Normally if I were to change extensions I would go into 04, enter port 005, blank the extension (I believe it is button 01 on the phone), hold, then go to 046 and assign 205, then go back to 005 and assign 246. That could explain why your phones aren't ringing right.

Voice mail is controled by dialing from the phone: int #656xxxxx redial (xxxxx refers to the inband digits required by your voice mail to send a call to a user's voice mail. For toshiba vmail it is typically 91 plus the extension). The code for controlling the message waiting log in is: int #657xxxxx redial.

You can only set one type of call forwarding on a phone: all, busy, no answer, or busy/no answer. You only set call forward once.

I think that should do it. Good luck!
