Plaese understand this is still in conception stage as i have been toying with the idea for about a year. I have talked with a couple other local companies and have had good feed back.

I have been slowing working on trying to put together some kinda a Telecom Association to allow some of the smaller companies the benfits of the larger ones.

It would consist of companies with 1 to say 20 employees in the phone and data world.

Ideas of what we would have access to as a group.

Insurance
Legal
Equipment and materials
Debt Collection
A voice in Washington..IE Bellsouth/ATT merger was not a good thing.
Better bidding Opportunities on Nationwide and Government jobs and contarcts.

This would not be a sole operation it would be a group effort in all aspects to make it work.
I have been in communications since 1987 and have seen so many changes in our world and feel that the small companies are slowly getting pushed out of the picture.

Just let me know your thoughts and please remember its still just an idea.

You should make an effort if possible to attend our meeting on March 1 in Las Vegas. These matters, along with group rate insurance, private-labeled phone systems, group discount levels from suppliers and overall small interconnect bonding will be the main topics of discussion. These programs are already in place and will be discussed in detail. Please try to join us. You will be glad that you did.

You may want to look at this site Ideacom they do some of that. Again as Ed said this is going to be a hot topic at the March 1st conference and Ideacom is one of the vendors that will be there. You are serious about this there won't be many opportunities to have this many telecom professionals altogether you should try to be there. Meet Info
