I am adding a DSS console to our Strata DK 424. The question i have is, how do you specify which ext is tied to the DSS console?

Thanks for your reponse. Isn't program 29 used to setup the different keys for the dss console? I'm not seeing anywhere to associate an extension to use with the console its self. I am using DKAdmin if that makes any difference.

Usually the first port on a pdku is the station and the last the dss like 200/207
with a dss assigned pdku or peku /with 29 1-8
making the assignment

If you cant get it w/admin use a phone
much easier.

Prefect. Thanks for the help. One last DSS console related question.

Do we need a different console to work with the pdku or peku cards? The consoles i have work when connected to a PDKU card, but not a PEKU card.

PDKU cards are for digital (DKT) phones or DSS units.
PEKU cards are for Electronic (EKT) phones or DSS units.
