Hello Everyone,

Currently, when a caller is waiting in queue in the ACD group, the phone will constantly ring and then get the usual "thank you for holding, etc" every 20 seconds while waiting for someone to answer the call.

Is it possible to change this to music instead of the ringing? I thought I remember seeing an option for this somewhere.

I know there is a system wide setting for normal calls but it doesn't appear to have any affect on ACD calls.

If its ringing doesnt that mean there is a phone logged in and ringing?

Just an old phone man just trying to stay busy selling hosted solutions and POTs line replacement devices.

Good question. I tested it late at night, so I assumed no one was logged in.

We have a small ACD group. After letting it ring for two minutes and automatically setting everyone to unavailable, I would think it shouldn't ring anymore. I also called later and let it ring for another two minutes, so I'm pretty sure everyone would be set to unavailable at that point.

With that said, we have confirmed that a caller will still have to sit on hold in the queue for two minutes even though everyone is logged out before getting transferred to voicemail. Any way to fix this?
