Well, Jeff, the button assignments can vary from one installer to another. Based on what you have provided, and assuming you are using DKTs with a minimum of 10 buttons, I'd place all 3 trunks on the phone plus a phantom extension for the door phones to ring, a flash button for call waiting, a caller id button for missed calls, and a speed dial button. Whatever buttons you have left over can be used for dss keys or whatever you think the customer will use. As for the cordless, the four buttons should include the PDN and the 3 trunks.

I agree, but remember .... the 4 buttons on the cordless mimic the first four buttons on the DKT it is attached to....

Hey guys,
Thanks for responding. I should have been more specific, as far as caller id features in prog 39, what do you guys normally program to sets?
As far as the cordless , this will be a stand-alone, not bridging to dkt, Im guessing to set pooled line key for trks,Phantom for door box,and sds key, and ICM. Can the door boxes be pooled to 1 key?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

What do want on Caller ID? Only stations that ring will see caller ID and you can have a station that collects the cid records.

I haven't done a Toshiba door box for ages, always Viking, but the doorboxes would ring on the intercom if I am not mistaken. Easy to verify on site.
