Ahhh! He is in program 00, software check.

In 0 there should be a 4 digit code shown.

Try [Spkr] 0 0000 and see if the password does not come up.

If by chance that still does not work, Run program 90 and initialize program 00 only, then go into 00 and try the [Spkr] 0 0000 to see if it works then.

If you ship a bottle of warm beer to America will it still be warm by the time it gets here? Cheers.

Ken it's definately a DK280.

Bunnie; the trouble is I can't select a program to run, as the password prompt is shown as soon as I press [SPKR], ie:

xxxxxxxxxxxpassword prompt>

Whats with the warm beer?

Rich.

I may not know much, but what happens if you do [SPKR] ## [HOLD]? Does it take you out of program mode back to your standard display?

OK, where are all the administrators and mods that are supposed to be deleting the passwords that are not supposed to be posted here?

SHAME, SHAME, SHAME do I have to take a stick to you?

OK, more seriously now, what CPU are you using? If necessary, power down, pull the card, write down the CPU type and power up, then post it.

Some how, I think in the back of my mind that this may come from incorrect initialization.

Would it be a really big deal to reprogram the switch? If you can, then I would suggest pulling the memory whatchamacalit tiny little piece by the memory battery and powering down. Then replace the battery whatchamacallit and power up. Then do programs 91-9. 90, 91-1, 91-2, and 92 IF you can get into programming using the password you were not allowed to post above and which has not been removed by the administrators or mods.

As a worst case scenario, unsolder one leg of the memory battery with the power off and that should really default it.

But before you do any of that, let us know what the CPU is.

Thanks, Bunnie

Please use the PM feature to pass any password features, we have no problem with techs helping but we don't need passwords on the open forum. Thanks
