Do you really need a 4 conductor cord for a 20 button add on module to work properly?. JBW

The 20-button add on module doesn't reguire a port and comes with a piece that needs to plugged into the add-on unit and also in the main phone. There is alos a plate that comes with it so youcan connect the main phone to the add-on panel so it actually appears to be one phone.
Is this going on a phone in a DK or CTX/CIX system?
E-mail me if you need more info?
