OK...you will need to do a few things here!
First, do the following to take off anything that might be on your phone:
ALL OF THIS IS done WITH THE HANDSET ON HOOK:
Step 1:
Press the INT/EXT button Press the # button then 656 Press Redial Press SPKR
Step 2:
Press the INT/EXT button Press teh # button then 657 Press Redial Press SPKR
Step 3:
Press the INT/EXT button Press the # button then 601 Press Redial Press SPKR
Now you will need to put back the ID codes and then re-do the forwarding.
Step 1:
Press the INT./EXT button Press the # button then 656 Press 91 Enter the mailbox number for your phone Press Redial Press SPKR
Step 2:
Press the INT./EXT button Press the # button then 657 Press 92 Enter the mailbox number for your phone Press Redial Press SPKR
Step 3:
Press the INT/EXT button Press the # button followed by 604 Enter the VM extension number (850) Press the Speed Dial or SDS button Enter the two digit number for the number of rings (12=4 rings; 08 would equal about 2 rings; 24 = about 8 rings etc.) Press the REdial button Press the SPKR button
As a point of reference, you shouldn't "experiment" with your phone!!!! Maytbe your local vendor can proivide some training for you?? All of what I have just given you is in the user manual for the phone.

Hi Amy
Thanks for the reply
Unfortunately this isnt working for me,,,I think we may be using a voicemail system other than the one with the prefix of "91".,.,,
Is there any way to "query" a button, #657 is working so I believe I may be able to find the correct sequence in there?

You are very, very lucky you didn't do that where they beat people for breaking things.
Amy has the right idea. I however, having the benefit of a whole lot of wine tonight, would do one thing first.
At your phone with the handset on hook, (I hope you listened to Amy on that), press [intercom] then dial # 6 0 1 and then press [speaker].
Then still respecting sweet little Amy and keeping the handset on hook, press [intercom] then dial # 6 0 2 and then press [speaker].
Don't get bored here, there is more to do.
Press [intercom] then dial # 6 0 3 and then press [speaker].
Moving on, Press [intercom] then dial # 6 0 4 and then press [speaker].
Ah Bunnie you might say, why did I do that? To clear every kind of call forwarding that you might have played with except external call forwarding which you didn't play with, now did you? No, Good.
Now for your information and entertainment, 603 is the call forward no answer timer, which I believe you want and if not, too bad, that is what I am giving you.
Do the following steps with the handset on hook just to please me and Amy too:
Press [intercom] then dial # 6 0 3 8 5 0 and then press the [speed dial] button and enter in the number of seconds you want your phone to ring before it forwards to the voicemail and then press [redial] and if it doesn't hang up then press [speaker].
The number of seconds can be anywhere from 08 to 60.
Press [intercom] then dial # 6 5 6 9 1 then dial [your extension number] and then press [redial].
Have someone call you and if you did everything right, you call will forward to voice mail and you will never mess with the programming again.
Then make another post and say that it worked and that I can do analysis better drunk that most people can sober and I'll be a genuine smart ass instead of a tipsy advice giver.
Its the same voice mail forwarding if you have a Maverick, or a Pony, or a Stallion, or a Mare, or a Gelding (ouch), or a Pinto, or a Tonto.
Cheers from THE Bunnie

What Toshiba system is it? DK280/424, DK40? Is there a I/O card in the switch? Have you used DK Admin before? With a backup or access via DK Admin you can view the 656/657 codes.

When you answer Bobs question are you trying to change rings from station to voicemail or rings b4 attendant answers incoming call.
All your references that are screwed up are sta to mail .
"Now you did it Lucy" Wait till Rickie gets home .
If you have the maverick integration notes to your Toshiba ,it would be helpful.
Kindly complete your profile so we know where you are and your position ,If your not in the business posters will speak to you easier terms or you will think your talking to martians.

When you dial the voicemail extention number and reach the main greeting, what do you dial to reach your mailbox, perhaps 999 or 9 or 7 or press the star button. If you know this we can probably figure out the rest. JBW

I'm still working on this problem.,.,Amy tried to help me with an email session (thanks amy!) but we weren't able to resolve it
In order to access my mailbox, I press (INTERCOM)850 then when she greets (#)(EXT)(PASSWD)
When I press "5" I can "Log in" and "Log out". When I'm logged out, the system properly forwards the calls to the voicemail , so even if we can't fix it, I'll just have to be diligent about logging out at night or when leaving the office. Doesn't help with the calls that come in when I'm on the phone or away from my desk, though.
edit: forum picked up my typing as HTML tags
