Dear All:
I have searched through this forum and checked the configurations and settings on how to make it ring audibly but to no avail. :bang:
Here is the detail: CTX100 system with mix of 2010,2020 and 3020 phone units. This particular extension is a 2020 set and doesn't ring audibly although we can see the LEDs flashing when a call is coming through via DID. I have access to both the CTX and VM through winctx and stratagy admin softwares. Appreciate your help in resetting this function.

Phil:
Not yet! I will try to compare the settings of the non-working phone to that of mine and see where the problem lies.

You might want to check and see if they have multiple call groups active for their lines. If so, no matter what you do, the line will not ring at an extension that is NOT included in the MCG.

I am not so expert in this WinAdmin (although I like to have the software) but as far as I know, there are two ways for making an extension ring.
Using MCG, which is usually suited more for the DKT2001, DKT300 and Single Line phones.
The other method is to use Program 203, if I am not mistaken

I use MCG all the time. That way an incomming call can Call Forwarded to voicemail. Sometimes I use the Delay 2 timer in MCG to send the call to the Auto Attendant. I can change the ring delay timer easier.
Sure you can use Phantoms, but, I think, they are harder to make changes to it later. With MCG, I can see the entire list of ringing extensions.
I have had a few minor issues with MCG, especially when there are phones with DND.
If you have line appearing on the phones, you can set them to ring, or not ring on incoming calls. But that setting has no affect if you use MCG.
The setting the controls where to send a call to (ring an extension, Phantom DN, or MCG) is program 300, trunks, under the DIT tab. With nothing set, phones with CO lines keys set to ring, will ring on incoming calls.
BTW, I looked up program 203; Change DN.
