I am looking for a phone system with 2 lines input. It should
be capable to transfer / forward (unattended) one in coming call to any of
atleast 10 programable telephone numbers using the second telephone line
connected to that phone. Incoming caller should be able to select from
option 1 to 10 to dial any of the ten programed numbers. Telephone dials the
selected number using the second line and connected both lines once dialing
is completed. Any help in this regards ?
Thanx

You should be able to do something like that with a centrex line and most voicemail units.

Thanks for input.. The real issue is , I don't have Centrex service available at the location where I want to use this system. That is the biggest reason, I would like to use two simple analog lines and to make centrex service by my self.
Any thoughts ?

The biggest issues are the possible loss of volume by tying two trunks together and that you can only have one caller on the line while subsequent callers will get a busy tone while the two lines are tied up. But if you must, the CTX28 with the gvmu will suffice.

The CTX100 has "amplified" conferencing and never having put in any of the small CTX 28s, I don't know off the top of my head if that is part of the feature set or not.

I have the latest release 3 CIX software and besides myself have had multiple techs try to fix my "amplified" conferencing. I did buy the 100 when it first came out and have upgraded software so maybe it just was not meant to be. I would hear the unit's volume before making the purchase. It is supposed to be great and I can't make it that way.

Most of the work will be in the voicemail. Any system that can do trunk to truck transfer will work..

You could do a 50si Samsung with a 2 port SMVI4 voicemail. All used.

50si Ksu, 3 CO card, SMVI4 VM, 1 12 btn Disp. phone to program.

Less than a grand. Have 'em in stock.

User calls in, hears menu, dials digit for mailbox, mailbox answers, dials 9 and stored number.

Rings at new location.

CAUTION: This will NOT be at 100% volume, you are bridging two calls just as a conference call in a phone system. Three way calls using flash to the CO will have 100% volume.

Have you asked your local CO if they have some other way to do three way? Probably not but worth a phone call to ask.

Just thought of something you might want to research. Would Vonage or Packet8 or Covad have a voip feature where a caller would get your voicemail and dialing a digit would transfer the call? They seem to have a 1001 features to get you to sign up.
