I work with hawt0021, we tried a couple of additional things yesterday (changed some dip switches on the NDTU card), but still got the same error -- "PCB is not installed at that location". This happens when we are trying to create the first Trunk in a newly-created the Trunk Group.

I'm working from home today, snowed in (can't get my car out of my own driveway).

Are you getting error code ERDIU 00?

Do you have a strap from J3 on the NDTU to the NTWU3? Should be like the one on the first NDTU.

Have you swapped the first NDTU with the second NDTU to verify you have a perfectly good card?

Are the dip switches set identical to the first card?

I know all about snow up to the middle of the car windows, I once lived in country like that and fled to California at the first opportunity. Note that I said "fled" not moved.

Sorry for the long wait on the response. Its been very busy.

The error code is ERTRK 00.

I can only plug one NDTU into the NTWU as far as I can see. It also looks like there can be only one NTWU in the cabnit.

We have swapped the existing card with the new one and it works fine.

All the switches are the same.

Have you checked the connectors between the base cabinet and the expansion cabinet? If that was not correct or not plugged in all the way, it would not see the NDTU and give you the ERTRK00.

When you put the card in, what falts show on the NDTU?

Are you getting the correct voltages on the expansion backplane? See page 4-1 on.

What about the master/slave settings on 4-17?

This almost absolutely has to be a connection fault due to lack of correct power or circuit connections between cabinets.
