ok seems like I need an overview of how vm works on a toshiba I am trying very hard to learn this stuff so I hope you will excuse my ignorance.

I started with a box of parts and have a working phone system (mainly)
When a call goes to a station that is busy, it should go to vm or when it is not answered. I dont want to have to have each person set a cfbna on each phone.

The back end stuff seems to be working.. I basically setup program 83, 86, and 89 to ring the vm group after 24 sec, this seems to work but perhaps someone can tell me the right way. I set the VM ID on each phone, the MW seems to work. DTMF digits are sent properly and the system asks for a pw, etc..

background:
DK40i, Aleen VME4000, KSTU2, dtmf card, slot 00=92 - i also tried 98 with same result), (prog 31=5,6,16,17,18,20)- I also tried 15,19 same result (13=008) <VM PORTS ARE 008-011> (40=DH900 hunt 01=008,02=009,03=010,04=011)

thanks in advance

P.S. Im willing to spend some $ for a teacher to help me finish if anyone is interested. Garden Grove, CA email me through the board.

There is no choice but CFBNA for a call to go to a vm box if you want busy or no answer forwarding.

I think you have it as good as you need/have.

If you are flexible on time, I am supposed to be going to to Irvine on Wednesday the 15th and could stop by on the way back.
