Strata DK424: On a few stations call forward does not work if an internal line or ext call the station. The phone just rings and rings never going to voice mail. I've checked the DND feature on the stations voice mail box and it is off. The funny thing is external calls will be forwared correctly. Any other suggestions? I'm just a rookie at this Toshiba system so any help would be greatly appreciated.

check your call forwarding on the phones that aren't working correctly

#604 for busy no answer, also may want to re-do #656 codes and #657

If you don't know how to do the 603/604/656/657, do a search on the top of the page for 656 and you will probably find two dozen posts showing you step by step.

try going to a phone in question and reset the Cfwd to another phone close by. Intercom, #604, destination station number, speedial key,# of seconds(08),redial key.ou should get confirmation tones after each step, and please use a phone that has a disply if possible. Once that is done call the phone you did the forwarding at and it should call the phone that you forwarded it to. If this works then re-call forward the first phone to the voicemail DHG and then test.

I think we are missing something here.

Pick out an extension that does not work say 235.

You would do this AT that extension.

[Int] # 6 0 1 [Redial]
You have cleared call forwaring just in case.

[Int] # 6 0 4 [XXX] [speed dial button] 2 0 [Redial]
You have call forward busy/no answer to XXX the first extension of the VM group in 33 or 850 or other number that you use for the VM group in program *40 then the speed dial button which is just a separator that tell the Toshiba CPU how many seconds to wait before forwarding to voice mail, then how many seconds to wait, then Redial to end the programming step.

The display should show 235 CFNA/B 850 (if 850 was used in program *40)

Then [Int.] # 6 5 6 9 1 2 3 5 Redial
[ext]

Then [Int.] # 6 5 6 9 1 2 3 5 Redial
[ext]

Please try that and let us know.

If this does not solve it, let us know if you are using a hunt group in program 33 or a distributed hunt group in program *40 and what the number is you use to forward to voicemail. (It will show on each display phone that is forwarded.)

Program 33 on this station, the attribute is blank

Change your call forwarding from the first port of voice mail to the distributed hunt DN of 350. Intercom, #604, 350, Speed Dial, 12, Redial.
