I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of cordless phone, it there is one, would be compatible with our phone system.

Sometimes we are outside moving around, and need to answer calls.

Thanks in advance.

While we do not have those models here, any Panasonic DECTs would do the job. Its also because our customers prefer them over Sanyos

Do Panasonic DECT's have all or almost all the features of Toshiba DKT phones? Do the Panasonic models plug into Toshiba phone outlets?

Thanks for the reply's. I was wondering if there were cheaper phones that might work. We are a non-profit, and are working with a tight budget. Thanks a bunch.

If you are going to go single line cordless, you are going to need available S/L ports to plug them into.

Forgive my ignorance, but was is an S/L port? Also, we have 4 lines that ring into our system, and we would like to have the cordless phone be able to pick up any of them, just like our desk phones.

S/L means single line... your normal household phone.
Household type phones cannot be plugged into a "system" digital station port. They will not function.
By far the best solution is to go with the Toshiba system cordless as you will have access to "system" functions like hold, transfer, etc. and it can be plugged into a normal "system" station port. If you put in a plain old (household) cordless phone, you will need to have single line station ports available on your system. Do you know if you have a KSTU2 (or RSTU2) installed?

Is it possible to forward all calls coming into the building to someone's cell phone?? I see call forward external in the manual, but I am not sure if it will work, or how to program it.
