Hello all, I'm trying to get the SMDR on our 670 working (it's never worked since the install). We used to have it on our 424, so we have the software/cables, etc. Which port on the processer card (I think it's on the proc. card - system's not in front of me) do I plug the SMDR cable into? What do I have to program to make it send the data to the computer? Any help, as always, is appreciated!

it will plug into the BSIS on the proc. card, then go to IO device set port one as SMDR or what ever port you are going to use set for RS-232

The SMDR format on the 670 is different than that of the DK424. Your call accounting software will most likely need to have its parser updated.

Also, you must note the baud rate in the CTX series. The old PIOU or PIOUS cards only have either 300 or 1200 baud rates.

Thanks for all the suggestions, when I get some time I'll try and set it up and let you know how it goes. I'll have to update the call accounting software though.

Hello, does anyone know if SMDR on 670 can capture extension to extension calls (internal)?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Would you take the time to complete your profile so we know who we are helping? Some information is location specific.

Hope you enjoy the board,

Thanks !!! clap

Some equipment used in the USA doesn't work hardware/software/firmware in other parts of the world.

Now if we can get someone with the correct info to assist you.! ! ! It is oh dark thirty here in the Midwest of the US. Should see someone in a few hours.
