Hi Guys, We FINALLY got our new CIX 100 installed, wow caller ID sure is nice! Have a few things we're working out/getting used to, and the one I haven't gotten a good answer from our dealer on how to fix, i.e.: When I am on a call, and another CO line that rings at my station rings, I hear two bursts of two short rings each. So it interrupts my concentration when I'm on a call. Can I turn the "call waiting" completely off, and is that something I can do by extension instead of system wide? FYI, CIX 100, version 4.something, phones are DKT2010s and 2020s. Thanks.

To get rid of those annoying two little beeps in your ear, with the handset on hook, just depress the mic button and then the volume down button, while still holding the mic button down. Should fix you right up!

Thanks Phil, it's not beeping in the headset, but the base is ringing. Is that a different setting? BTW I have emanager up and running. Thanks.

I'm thinking you need to disable "Ring Over Busy" on the basic station setup in emanager.
