Hi guy's I'm having a problem with a DK280 its got euro isdn and I'm trying to get external call forward working. Iset everything up in programs 10.x program my ext call forward button on phone and make sure the ddi is only ringing to that phone. When I call the ext from another extn the call forwards externally fine, but when I call that extension's ddi number I get a burst of 2 rings and then silence anyone have any ideas on this? Cheers, Roger.

Make sure you use speed dial 49 (or maybe its 47.... it's been a while since I've done this) and when you put the number in don't put a "9" in front of the number.... you have to put the line group number , for example, 801 + the number. Make sure you use the line group that you want it dial out on, if it is overseas and your using LCR to route the calls make sure you find out which line group your overseas calls go out on. Then to activate it goto the extension and , I believe this is right , you hit intercom and dial #670 to turn on the CF-EXT feature. Also #670 will turn off the CF-EXT feature. I'm sure someone else reading this post may correct me on some stuff here but I think it's all right.

Thanks for that Wire Rat I have the number in speed dial 49 I am using 9 for line out as that is the group number I want, there's no LCR setup and I've programmed up a softkey so don't need the #670. If I turn the Call FWD ext on and dial the extension from another extension it forwards the call fine but if I dial the forwarding extensions ddi I get a burst of 2 rings and silence. I may replace the processor and re-program everything as i can't see where the fault lies...

Cool, but I still think you have to program the speed dial number with the line group access code such as 801 for LG 1 ... Far as I know using a "9" plus the number in the speed dial won't work.... Try reprogramming the number with 801 in front and not 9. I'd hate for you to do a processor whipe and still have the same thing happen.
