I have a Toshiba CIX670 that I manage through eManager, We have both 2010D and 3010D phones. I am having an issue with phantom lines. We have the main extensions for the employee on the top button then we have a phantom line second from the top for that employee can take multiple calls(we do not use call orbiting). We then have a hunt group with those to line in a circular hunt method to if I dial the person ext it picks what ever line he has open. The problem I have is if an employee calls from it top line which is he normal extension then leaves a voice mail message, when listening to those messages it will say the message came from extension(then gives the ext number that left the message). However is some calls from the phantom line and leaves a voice mail message, when listening to those message it will say the message came from unknown. I am assuming this is the case because the Stratagy Voice mail system does not have the phantom number and one on the voice mail boxes. Please advise if I need to try something to get this to work.

In the phantom programming, set "display DN" and VMID to the primary extension number.

Yes, in the Phantom DN setting I have set Owner PDN, Display DN, VM ID Code, LCD Name all to the ext on the owner. To clarify, if the person calls the display shows the correct PDN/ext it is when they leave a voice mail is says from unknow instead of the proper PDN/ext. Thanks for the help

I don't know if this will work, but try making a mailbox that matches the phantom dn and put the owner's name in the mailbox.

Thanks phonemeister. I tired that on Wednesday. I created that phantom name in the ies32 voice mail system. I put the owner's ext in the mailbox. When I called and left a message on a phone it did change wait it said on the display from unknown but it changed to the phantom DN number and of course if I attempt to change that is comes up and tells me the mail box already exists. Any body else?

What I meant was create a mailbox with the user id and extension number the same as the phDN and fill in the name fields.

phonemeister. Thanks for the info. I created the mailbox iwht the user id and ext the same as the phDN and filled in the name fields of the user and the display still says the phDN. It surprises me that toshiba does not have a display as in the IES32 like it does in the eManager. Any other ideas
