Folks, I need to know how to set this system where internal calls ring the extension rather than the current "intercom" setup where each dkt auto answers via its speakerphone. Is there a way to do that?
Also, tried to do this via phdn's but can't get them to ring audibly. Made changes in *71 to no avail.
Hallllp!

program 10-1 led 1 turn it on. The reason your PHDN's didnt ring was probably lacking ownership. I hope this answers your questions.

Bob, Thanks but I did try the 10-1 and the 10-2 led's, but I will try them again.
The PHDN's has ownership.....I setup program *04, *33 and then put the flexbutton on the owners phone. If there is something more to do, I can't find it.
Btw, I have the ContactDK answering system and calls that are transferred by it ring in just fine. If I call the ContactDK from port000 and then have IT transfer me to the same extension IT rings just fine. But if I call that extension directly from port000 it won't ring......just lights. :-(

Last night I was looking over program 31 and realized that I had turned on the handsfree no warning tone, (selection 2). This setting not only turns off the warning tone for each station that it is set for, but also disables internal ringing for the extension that it is assigned to. So.......
1. I turned on the 10-1 led 1 2. I turned off 31 led 2 for all of the effected phones 3. I now have "internal ringing"
Only 1 problem now....
The phones ring with that irritating intercom tone instead of their normal ring......how do I change this?
