I removed this Strata VIe last week from a client when I installed a Nortel system.
This week I get a chance to install for a client.
I have the manual, but can't get the phones to ring for Intercom calls.
From set 17, (with the "set" key in & locked) I tried program 01, with LED ON for Tone First. Is this the proper program to turn on ringing for intercom calls?
I fail to see another program that it would be.
Excuse the ignorance, but I'm a Nortel man, not Toshiba.

Ok, I remember a similar setting on the VIe that I now have on the DK40i.
I can't remember what set it is in but it has to do with station class of service for each station look for button 1 or 2.

In COS 1, could it be "MIC on at start of call"? By default, when I initialized, it should be OFF.
In COS 2, there's "Ringing Line Preference" but I don't think that's it either.

Looks like it should be program 1 Intercom light on should give you tone, But it's been a LONG time since I programmed one.
If all else fails you can intercom the other phone then press 1 to change it to tone but it would have to be done by the user every time.

If the extension that is "ringing" has its speakers on, then it is the Intercom LED in Program 01 that must be turned on. If its off, its voice first.
