I get dial tone on a single line phone, but the when I hit the number keys, all I get is DTMF...it does not "Break" the dial tone and dial to another extension. What am I missing?

Did this problem just start? Did you just install the card? Is your DTMF receiver card programmed properly?

That would be the first thing I'd check, too. What system is the RSTU in?

I just installed it. When you say DTMF receiver card, do you mean the daughter board on the RSTU? What programmiung would I need??? It is on a DK 280 with, Version 4

1- The dtmf receiver is a daughter board on the processor card ,If there was no other rstu in the system b4 ,its a good chance you need a dtmf rec card
2- Is the rstu programmed in prog 03 as a 31 card.
3- in prog 03 look at slot 00 or 01 and see if comes up code a code 92,93,94 which is the code for a dtmf rec ,if code 91 it means no dtmf

Thanks to all of you guys...it has ID'ed the problem. In Program 03, the 00 slot comes up 91, which obviously means no DTMF rec card...so I'm off to buy one.

Did you also look on the processor card for a daughter board ?
